Keel laid for Russian trawler Kapitan Yunak

Russia’s Admiralty Shipyard has laid the keel for a new freezer trawler slated for the Russian Fishery Company.

The Skipsteknisk-designed Project ST192 vessel will be named Kapitan Yunak. It will be used primarily to catch pollock and herring in the Barents Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk.

Once completed, the vessel will have a length of 108 metres, a beam of 21 metres, a speed of 15 knots, and a freezer hold capacity of 5,500 cubic metres.
