Lotos Shipyard lays keels of two Project 93.159 dredgers

Russia’s Lotos Shipyard has laid the keels of two new Project 93.159 self-propelled dredgers ordered by local shipowner State Transport Leasing Company.

The Royal IHC-designed vessels will be used for dredging works in the Ob and Dvina Rivers as well as some of their tributaries.

The dredgers will each have a length of 50 metres, a beam of 11.88 metres, a draught of 1.3 metres, and a maximum dredging depth of 10 metres.
