Project REV Ocean orders Triton Submarines deep diving vessel
Project REV Ocean, a Norwegian not-for-profit foundation, has placed an order for a new deep diving research submersible with Triton Submarines of Sebastian, Florida.
The submersible will have room for three people and is designed to dive as deep as 2,286 metres.
The 10-tonne submersible could be deployed from and recovered aboard Project REV Ocean’s research vessel REV Ocean, which is in the final stages of construction.
