WDR reveals ferry under construction

WBR’s newest vessel

German ferry operator Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei Föhr-Amrum (WDR) revealed it currently has a passenger catamaran under construction in the Netherlands due for delivery next year.

The 250-passenger vessel will be capable of travelling at speeds up to 16 knots.

News of the new vessel was revealed as at the christening of WDR’s newest ferry last week, which was delivered in April.
