Jianglong Shipbuilding has cut the first steel for three patrol boats in a series ordered by the China Maritime Safety Administration (CMSA).
The vessels will each have an LOA of 33.2 metres, a beam of six metres, a design speed of 21.5 knots, and a range of 500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The patrol boats will be operated primarily in the coastal waters of Guangdong Province, including the waters of the Dawan District common area with Hong Kong and Macau.
