Jianglong completes 37-metre patrol boat for CMSA

Jianglong Shipbuilding has completed construction of a new patrol boat ordered for the China Maritime Safety Administration’s (CMSA) office in Jiangsu province.

The 37.3- by 6.8-metre vessel was designed by Yangtze River Ship Design Institute. It has a range of 500 nautical miles and two diesel engines that deliver a speed of 16 knots.

The vessel has also completed sea trials and is undergoing final preparations before delivery to its new owners. It will be used for law enforcement patrols and search and rescue (SAR).
