JMU delivers bulk carrier Empress Zonda

Japan Marine United (JMU) delivered a new Dunkirkmax bulk carrier to an unnamed shipowner on Tuesday, June 2.

The 182,000DWT vessel has been named Empress Zonda. It has an LOA of 292 metres, a beam of 45 metres, a draught of 18.15 metres, and accommodations for 25 crew.

One MAN B&W 7S65ME-C8.5 diesel engine gives the DNV GL-classed newbuild a speed of 15 knots.

Empress Zonda will sail under the Panamanian flag.
