Vyborg Shipyard cuts steel for second Project KMT02 trawler for Atlantrybflot

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Vyborg Shipyard has cut the first steel for a new trawler for Russian fishing company Atlantrybflot.

The ice class vessel will be the second Project KMT02 trawler ordered by Atlantrybflot from Vyborg. It is designed for bottom trawling and will have a freezing capacity of up to 100 tonnes of fish per day as well as a total hold capacity of 375 cubic metres.

The trawler will have a length of 80.4 metres, a beam of 15.4 metres, a draught of 6.51 metres, a displacement of 5,563 tonnes, and a total installed power of 4.64 MW.
