Jenkins Marine kicks off Haslar Marina maintenance dredging
Jenkins Marine of Poole has begun maintenance dredging works at Haslar Marina, a 650-berth marina located just inside the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour.
An estimated 30,000 cubic metres are expected to be dredged with completion of the works expected at the end of October.
Vessels working on this dredging project will include the 30-metre backhoe dredger Doreen Dorward (pictured) and the 300-cubic-metre capacity self-propelled split hopper barges Nab and Needles.
