Damen, Van Wijngaarden sign workboat contract

Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld and Van Wijngaarden Marine Services have signed a contract for the construction of a DP1 multi-purpose workboat.

The 30- by 12.5-metre vessel will be named Kilstroom and will be delivered at the end of March 2020.

The workboat will be used in towing, offshore construction, anchor handling, and dredging support duties.
