Damen, ASFAT sign MoU

Damen Shipyards Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Turkish defence management agency Askeri Fabrika ve Tersane (ASFAT) for collaboration in the production of marine platforms.

The MoU calls for Damen and ASFAT to coordinate the construction of navy and coast guard vessels by shipyards in Turkey.

The partner companies will serve clients not only in Turkey but in other countries as well, ASFAT Deputy General Manager Bulent Safak confirmed.
