Netherlands-based Universal Africa Lines (UAL) has launched a new monthly cargo service between Europe and the Port of Warri in Nigeria.

UAL had opted for the Port of Warri due to its shorter inland connections and its being less congested compared to the Port of Lagos, company director Harald Maas said in a press release.

UAL’s fleet of vessels will make calls at the new cargo terminal operated by Julius Berger Services Nigeria.
