Odfjell christens second of two 36,000DWT chemical tankers built by Fukuoka

Odfjell recently held an official naming ceremony for Bow Persistent, the second of two 36,000DWT chemical tankers ordered from Fukuoka Shipbuilding.

As with its near identical sister Bow Prosper, Bow Persistent has thermal oil heating capacity and is tailor-made to transport propylene oxide.

The newbuild has an LOA of 183 metres, a beam of 28.3 metres, and 28 stainless steel cargo tanks.
