Wight Shipyard delivers new catamaran

Wight Shipyard has delivered a catamaran to Scottish tourism operator Loch Ness by Jacobite.

The 20-metre day-cruise passenger vessel was ordered by Loch Ness by Jacobite last September.

Jacobite Maverick accommodates 200 passengers across the aft deck, foredeck, cabin and upper deck.

The vessel is powered by two Scania DI9 main engines, each producing 257kW at 2,100rpm.

The vessel is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 15 knots.
