Alumarine delivers passenger catamaran

French shipyard Alumarine has delivered a passenger catamaran that will operate on Mediterranean waters.

There is space for 195 seated passengers, with 125 on the main deck and 70 on the open upper deck. The seating is removable, so the vessel can be used for functions and events.

The design was developed by yacht architect Mer and Design to provide more deck space for passengers and a shallower draught to increase the waterline length. The hull design features spray-deflecting chines and angular bulbous bows.

Forward on the upper deck is the enclosed pilot house with an all-round view. There are also secondary control stations on each side. She has a maximum speed of 20 knots.
