Princess Cruises to sell two 2,000-guest ships

Princess Cruises has confirmed the sale of two of its vessels, Sea Princess (pictured) and Sun Princess, to undisclosed buyers.

The 2,000-guest vessels will be replaced by newer ships on Princess Cruises’ Australia itineraries.

The sale of the vessels is in line with parent company Carnival Corporation’s plan to accelerate the removal of less efficient ships from its collective fleet.
