Princess Cruises and Fincantieri sign contracts for cruise ship pair

Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess

Princess Cruises and Fincantieri have signed the final contracts for the construction of two 175,000-tonne cruise ships, which will be the largest ships to be built so far in Italy.

The vessels will each accommodate approximately 4,300 guests and will be the first Princess Cruises ships to be dual-fuel powered primarily by LNG.

Delivery of the first ship is scheduled for late 2023 while the second will follow in spring 2025.
