The Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) has sold the buoy inspection vessel Jens Sørensen to Norwegian shipping company Cesam Rederi.

The buoy inspection vessel Poul Løwenørn will handle all the tasks concerning survey of aids to navigation at sea as well as the seabed surveys earlier primarily carried out by Jens Sørensen.

The DMA has decided to sell Jens Sørensen after the agency had managed to streamline all work related to aids to navigation in Danish navigational waters to such an extent that the associated tasks can be carried out by a single vessel.
