Brittany Ferries and Haropa Port have launched a new freight service between Normandy and the town of Rosslare in Ireland.

The cross-channel service provides one weekly return trip and utilises the Ro-Pax ferry Cotentin, which can carry 120 driver-accompanied freight units in a freight-only role.

Haropa Port said the new service is an additional means of connecting Ireland with the EU Single Market via France’s Port of Le Havre.
