Strategic Marine to build crewboat pair for UK client
Singapore-based shipbuilder Strategic Marine has been awarded a contract for the construction of two windfarm crewboats in a series for UK offshore services provider WEM Marine.
The vessels will each have a length of 27 metres, seating for up to 24 technicians, and two Caterpillar C32 engines that drive a pair of fixed-pitch propellers.
Delivery of both crewboats is expected by May 2021.
