Irish operator selects UK designer for new crewboat
Irish Commercial Charter Boats (ICCB) has selected UK-based Rockabill Marine Design to undertake design work on a new 14-metre crewboat.
The vessel will be capable of transporting 12 technicians and up to one tonne of cargo. Two OXE outboard engines will enable sailings at speeds of up to 25 knots.
Onboard facilities will include a heads/wet room and a galley.
The new ICCB crewboat will be designed in accordance with the MSO P5 passenger boat license and the MCA workboat code 3.
