LNG-powered dredger delivered to Van Der Kamp

Dutch operator Van Der Kamp has taken delivery of a new trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) built by Barkmeijer Shipyards.

Named Ecodelta, it is one of the first LNG-powered TSHDs in the Netherlands.

The Conoship International-designed dredger has an LOA of 134.1 metres, a width of 21.4 metres, a dredging draught of 7.35 metres, and a hopper capacity of 5,500 cubic metres.
