Damen lays keel of new marine aggregates dredger for Hanson

Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania recently laid the keel for a new marine aggregates dredger ordered by Hanson UK.

The vessel will be capable of dredging material at depths of up to 55 metres even in harsh environments.

Hanson will operate the dredger in the English Channel and in the North Sea. Delivery is scheduled for 2021.
