WA’s Western Rock Lobster Council opens online ordering platform

Fremantle-based non-profit Western Rock Lobster Council recently launched a new ordering and payment platform for customers who wish to purchase Western Australia western rock lobster directly from fishers.

The website BackOfBoat.com was established to enable customers to purchase premium rock lobsters from any local fisher as soon as they reach port or to order online. The site also allows fishers to register, take orders, and advise customers on planned fishing trips.

Back of Boat also features lobster recipes, guidance for proper handling and storing of live catch, and key information about the WA western rock lobster fishery.
