Avenir LNG takes delivery of 7,500cbm bunkering vessel
Avenir LNG recently took delivery of Avenir Accolade, its second 7,500-cubic-metre dual purpose LNG supply and bunkering vessel, from Keppel Offshore and Marine’s Nantong shipyard in China.
The vessel will soon enter a three-year bareboat charter to LNG Power, a subsidiary of Bermuda-registered Hygo Energy Transition (formerly Golar Power), to support Hygo’s developments in Brazil.
Avenir Accolade will be used to deliver LNG to Hygo’s customers along the Brazilian coastline. It will also be capable of unloading LNG directly into trucks for onward distribution across Brazil.
