Hung Hua Construction orders third crewboat from Damen

Hung Hua Construction of Taiwan has ordered a third Damen high-speed crewboat to add to two 27-metre vessels it had ordered at the start of the year.

The 26-metre catamaran will be able carry up to 12 personnel plus crew at speeds of over 25 knots. It is available in stock at Damen Shipyards Singapore and is scheduled to be delivered within the month following finishing and some customisation.

The crewboat will be operated by Hung Hua’s fully owned subsidiary Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) on windfarm support duties offshore Taiwan.
