Genco Shipping to acquire two Ultramax newbuildings

Genco Shipping and Trading has entered into agreements to acquire two Ultramax vessels to be constructed at Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS) in China.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery to Genco in January 2022.

The two 61,000DWT newbuildings will be the fifth and sixth modern Ultramax vessels to be acquired by Genco since December 2020.
