Philippine Coast Guard personnel work to recover the remains of one of the more than 65 people who perished after the Ro-Pax ferry Trisha Kerstin 3 sank off Basilan province on January 26, 2026. Among those who were on board the vessel at the time of the incident, 293 survivors have been recorded while 14 are still unaccounted for as of February 24, 2026.
