Guangzhou tour operator takes delivery of all-electric vessel

Chinese operator Guangzhou Blue Dolphin Cruises has taken delivery of a new sightseeing vessel from local builder Jianglong Shipbuilding.

Lan Haitun 2020 (“Blue Dolphin 2020”) measures 38.8 by 12 metres and has capacity for 280 passengers. An all-electric propulsion system will enable sailing at speeds of up to 9.7 knots.

The interior space may also be utilised for private events and conferences.

The vessel will be operated primarily in the waters of the Dawan District between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
