Rosmorport orders TSHD from local builder

FSUE Rosmorport has ordered a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) for use in the north of Russia.

The sixth dredger to be built for Rosmorport under the design of the Dutch company Damen, the vessel will be delivered to the customer in 2019.

Damen Shipyards Group signed a contract with LLC Onego Shipyard, at Petrozavodsk in the Republic of Karelia, to build the vessel. It will include a self-emptying system for bow discharge.
