Contract extended for Icon Offshore PSV

Icon Bahtera (IBSB), the Brunei subsidiary of Malaysia's Icon Offshore, has received an extension on the charter of the platform supply vessel (PSV) Icon Kayra from charterer Zell Transportation, the company said in a statement dated July 10.

Icon Ship Management sued for delayed payments in newbuilding project

Icon Ship Management (ISM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia's Icon Offshore, has been served a writ of summons by the Kuala Lumpur High Court in connection with an agreement dated September 30, 2011 between ISM and local builder Labuan Shipyard and Engineering (LSE) in relation to the engineering, construction, testing, and delivery of a 77-metre platform supply vessel (PSV).

ReCAAP reports Malaysian fishermen abducted off Sabah

The Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against ships in Asia (ReCAAP) has released a report that the crews of two Malaysian flagged fishing boats were abducted in the waters off Sabah on Tuesday, June 18.
