Welsh crewboat operator acquired by new owners

London-based shipmanagement firm Purus Marine has confirmed its acquisition of HST Marine, a windfarm crewboat operating company headquartered in Swansea, Wales.

Purus Wind, Purus Marine’s offshore wind business, will make HST’s fleet of crewboats available to serve customers following completion of the acquisition.

Purus Marine CEO Julian Proctor said the acquisition of HST Marine will enable Purus Wind to provide integrated crew transfer and service operation vessel (SOV) support solutions for offshore wind customers.
