Remontowa delivers third tug in series to Polish Navy

Poland’s Remontowa Shipbuilding delivered a new ice-class multi-purpose tug to the Polish Navy on Monday, July 13.

Named Mieszko, the 490-tonne vessel is the third in a series of six tugs that are also designed to perform pollution recovery and search and rescue (SAR) missions.

The tug, which recently completed acceptance trials, will operate out of the port of Gdynia.
