The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the Ukrainian Navy have entered into agreements regarding the construction of new missile boats for Ukraine and the transfer of two Royal Navy minehunters following their retirement from British service.

The first two units of the new missile boat class will be built in the UK while the remaining six will be constructed in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the two Sandown-class minehunters that are slated for transfer will first undergo repairs and upgrades, including the installation of additional equipment.
