The Pakistan Navy commissioned a new warship into service on Thursday, November 12.

Built by Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania, PNS Tabuk is the second of two corvettes ordered by the Pakistan Ministry of Defence from Damen Shipyards Group in 2017.

As with sister vessel PNS Yarmook, Tabuk is a multi-purpose surface combatant and is also equipped to carry a helicopter, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and two rigid-hull inflatable boats (RHIBs). Damen will continue to provide support to both corvettes for as long they are in Pakistani service.
