A patrol boat design developed by BMT has been selected by Marine Specialised Technology (MST) for the two new vessels that the latter will build under a UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) contract awarded in July of this year.

The vessels will be operated by the Gibraltar Squadron of the Royal Navy. Each will have an LOA of 19 metres and a maximum speed of 40 knots.

In addition to supplying the vessels’ design, BMT will provide a comprehensive logistics support package to assist the navy in maintenance and operations.
