Tallvine Partners' North America marine infrastructure platform has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets of Crosby Enterprises and certain of its affiliates.
Tallvine said the acquisition expands the platform’s presence across the US Gulf Coast and inland waterways, further strengthening its ability to provide critical maritime infrastructure services in key US markets.
"Tallvine intends to build on Crosby's longstanding legacy while continuing to support the customers, employees and communities that rely on its services every day," the company said in a press release.
"For nearly 50 years, Crosby has built an outstanding reputation for delivering critical marine services across the US Gulf Coast and inland waterways," said Thomas Lefebvre, Partner and CEO of Tallvine. "We are committed to investing in its people, fleet and infrastructure while preserving the operational excellence that has made Crosby a trusted partner to customers throughout the region."
Headquartered in Galliano, Louisiana, Crosby is a provider of critical marine infrastructure solutions across the US Gulf Coast and inland waterways, including offshore and inland towing, dredging, rock placement, marine construction support, and shipyard services.
Its fleet of more than 150 tugs, dredgers, support vessels, and shipyard and berth facilities support the operation and maintenance of the region’s navigable waterways, ports, and energy and industrial infrastructure.
Crosby’s crews, vessels, shipyards and shore facilities will continue serving customers without interruption. In addition, Mike Ellis will be joining the platform as an Operating Advisor to Tallvine.
The transaction was completed following a court-approved sale process conducted in connection with Crosby’s Chapter 11 proceedings and approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana on September 3, 2026. It represents the third acquisition under Tallvine’s North America marine infrastructure platform, following its September 2025 acquisition of Donjon Marine and its May 2026 acquisition of Lind Marine.
