The Far Eastern Basin Branch of Russian port operator Rosmorport has commenced operations of the three newest additions to its fleet of tugs.

The 26-metre icebreaking tug Askold and the 29-metre escort tugs Yemar and Sukhodol, which were commissioned into service in July, have now begun serving the seaports of Vladivostok and Vostochny following a period of trials.

All three tugs were designed by Damen for year-round operations.
