Boluda Towage Europe’s newest tugs sail on delivery voyage

The newly built tugs VB Flandes and VB Samba have sailed on their delivery voyage to Zeebrugge to join the fleet of Boluda Towage Europe.

The near identical sisters were built by Damen Shipyards Group to comply with IMO Tier III emissions standards. The tugs also have firefighting equipment.

The two newbuilds will operate alongside six other tugs in providing towage services at the Port of Zeebrugge under a five-year concession agreement that came into effect on January 1 of this year.
