Canadian robotics firm introduces new ROV series

UNMANNED CRAFT WEEK

Canadian marine robotics manufacturer Deep Trekker has introduced a new series of remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

Each ROV in the Pivot series will have six thrusters powered by lithium-ion batteries, a 97-degree rotating tool, and an HD camera with a 220-degree range of motion.

The vehicle has a maximum depth rating of 305 metres and will be capable of operations of up to three hours.
