Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK) has handed over a new vessel that will be used to train future Royal Navy officers at the Britannia Royal Naval College in Darthmouth.

The 13- by four-metre boat is the first to be completed and delivered out of a 38-vessel order awarded to AEUK in September 2017. It could achieve a maximum sustained speed of 25 knots and is capable of operating in up to Sea State Four.

The vessel and its sisters will replace the naval college’s fleet of aging training craft.
