UK’s Brightlingsea Harbour orders new pilot boat
MARITIME SECURITY WEEK
Brightlingsea Harbour on the east coast of England recently placed an order for a new pilot boat from Isle of Wight-based Seaward Boats.
The new boat will have an LOA of 8.96 metres, a beam of 3.04 metres, and a semi-displacement hull to provide effective seakeeping at both low and high speeds.
Seaward said the vessel will also be operated as a patrol boat and a harbour launch.
