New pilot boat delivered to Gulf of Tonkin operator

China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding has delivered one of two pilot boats in a series ordered by local operator Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Authority.
The aluminium-hulled Beibuwan 32 will be operated out of Fangchenggang, a Chinese port along the northern edge of the Gulf of Tonkin.
The newbuild has an LOA of 19.88 metres, a beam of 5.2 metres, and two Volvo IPS engines that deliver speeds in excess of 26 knots.
