Australia’s Poseidon Sea Pilots acquires 15m newbuild

Queensland, Australia-based Poseidon Sea Pilots recently took delivery of a new pilot boat from local builder Norman R. Wright and Sons (NWS).

Named Bulimba after a suburb of Brisbane, the newbuild is the third pilot boat to be built by NWS for Poseidon. It has an FRP-composite hull, a length of 15 metres, and all-weather capability.

Construction of two additional pilot boats for the same customer is underway at NWS’ Murarrie facilities.
