DFDS has begun operating Cote d’Opale, its newest Ro-Pax ferry, on the English Channel between Dover and Calais.

Delivered in June, the newbuild replaces Calais Seaways on the Dover-Calais route. It is the longest ferry serving that route with capacity for 3,100 lane metres of freight.

DFDS will operate Cote d’Opale on charter with Stena RoRo for an initial ten years with an option to purchase afterwards.
