Havyard unveils zero-emission sightseeing vessel

Havyard Design and Solutions recently unveiled a new concept design for a sightseeing vessel capable of zero-emissions operations in Norway’s inland waterways.

Each vessel in the series will have a length of 70 metres, capacity for 600 to 800 passengers, and a speed of 10 to 11 knots while running on battery power.

Passengers will be transferred on floating hubs installed at the mouths of the fjords and outside of the cities where the sightseeing vessels will call. These hubs will also serve as charging stations for the vessels.
