Alaska’s Goldbelt christens newest ferry

PASSENGER VESSEL WEEK

Goldbelt Transportation of Alaska christened Goldbelt Seawolf, its newest ferry, on Sunday, September 29.

The vessel will be used mainly to transport workers to and from the Kensington Gold Mine north of Juneau under a contract with Coeur Mining.

Shortly after the christening ceremony at Juneau’s seadrome dock, Goldbelt Seawolf departed on its maiden voyage.
