Italian builder lays keel of Explora Journeys’ second cruise ship

Italian shipyard Fincantieri has laid the keel of the second cruise ship slated to join the fleet of Explora Journeys, the new luxury brand of MSC Cruises.

Once completed, Explora II will have a gross tonnage of approximately 64,000 tonnes and 461 guest suites.

Explora Journeys expects to take delivery of the ship in the summer of 2024, one year after the scheduled delivery of sister vessel Explora I.
