Virgin Voyages took delivery of the second vessel to join its fleet, the 2,770-guest Valiant Lady, on Thursday, July 1.

The 912- by 124-foot (278- by 38-metre) sister to the 2020-built Scarlet Lady also has 1,400 cabins. Also, the air conditioning, lighting, audio, and video in each cabin can be controlled by guests using a specially developed smartphone app.

Other features include a waste heat recovery system, NOx-reducing catalytic converters, and LED lights.

The delivery ceremony of Valiant Lady took place at Fincantieri’s Genoa shipyard on the same day that sister ship Resilient Lady was launched into the water. Both ships will serve Virgin Voyages’ Mediterranean itineraries.
