Italian shipbuilder T. Mariotti has cut the first steel for the second ultra-luxury expedition vessel in a series ordered by Seattle-based Seabourn Cruise Line.

The yet unnamed vessel is scheduled to be launched in 2022, one year after the expected launch of near identical sister Seabourn Venture.

Both Seabourn Venture-class ships will be designed and built for diverse environments in compliance to PC6 polar class standards. Each will have two custom-built submarines, 24 rubber boats, and 132 oceanfront veranda suites.
